CrossTalk

A free Bible app for asking questions, reading Scripture and praying with others.

CrossTalk is an AI-powered Bible app and website. It describes itself as a new way to engage with the Bible, for devotionals and study.

CrossTalk is a separate resource from Care Resources International. It is operated by Manifest Automation, Inc., and Care Resources International does not own or operate it.

What CrossTalk offers

  • Ask questions about the Bible

An AI chat that answers questions based on the Bible and Christian beliefs, at any hour. CrossTalk says its chat is non-denominational and points out differences in tradition or interpretation when more than one answer is possible.

  • Read and study Scripture

A Bible reader with eight translations, including the ESV, NIV, NLT and NRSV, that keeps track of your reading progress.

  • Pray with others

Daily prayers, and a Prayer Wall where people around the world share prayer requests and praise reports. Every post goes through moderation.

  • Explore questions of faith

A Knowledgebase of curated questions and answers about the Christian faith.

Who it is for

CrossTalk is for anyone who wants to spend more time in the Bible: for devotionals and personal study, for looking up what Scripture says on a topic, for preparing a Bible study or sermon, and for praying with a wider community.

It is free to use. CrossTalk asks for an optional contribution, and if you cannot contribute, its Pay-it-Forward feature finds a sponsor for you. You can use it on the web, on iPhone and on Android.

CrossTalk launched in 2023 as Bible Chat and took the name CrossTalk in April 2025. Older links to biblechat.ai now lead to crosstalk.ai.

How CrossTalk relates to Care Resources International

CrossTalk is a product of Manifest Automation, Inc., which operates it. Care Resources International does not own, operate or control CrossTalk.

PCGA, the Pastoral Caregiving Assistant, is a different tool. It comes from Care Resources International and Brent Lindquist, PhD, and focuses on pastoral care: Scripture, practical suggestions and prayer for what you or someone you care for is facing.

CrossTalk has its own terms and conditions and privacy policy, and they apply when you use it. The Terms of Use and Privacy Notice on this site do not cover CrossTalk.

Like PCGA, CrossTalk uses AI. It is not a live pastor or counselor, and it is not an emergency service. CrossTalk describes itself as a supplemental aid to Bible study, church community and spiritual education.
